Nazli Ayhan

Post-doctoral Researcher in Virology

Hello! While I was studying in college, I was always interested in microbiology and especially virology. In 2014, I started my Ph.D. programme in Aix Marseille University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Emergence of Viral Diseases with, Emerging Sandfly-borne Phleboviruses in Balkan Countries: Virus isolation, Characterization, Evolution and Seroepidemiology, subject. I am still working on vector borne viruses as a post-doctoral researcher.

Latest publications:

+ Genomic surveillance reveals a dengue 2 virus epidemic lineage with a marked decrease in sensitivity to Mosnodenvir.

+ Sand flies and Toscana virus: Intra-vector infection dynamics and impact on Phlebotomus perniciosus life-history traits.
